فَاعْتَبِرْ بِهِ فَأَوَّلُ ذَلِکَ مَا یُدَبَّرُ بِهِ الْجَنِینُ فِی الرَّحِمِ وَ هُوَ مَحْجُوبٌ فِی ظُلُماتٍ ثَلاثٍ ظُلْمَةِ الْبَطْنِ وَ ظُلْمَةِ الرَّحِمِ وَ ظُلْمَةِ الْمَشِیمَةِ حَیْثُ لَا حِیلَةَ عِنْدَهُ فِی طَلَبِ غِذَاءٍ وَ لَا دَفْعِ أَذًى وَ لَا اسْتِجْلَابِ مَنْفَعَةٍ وَ لَا دَفْعِ مَضَرَّة
ابتدا مى کنم اى مفضّل به یاد کردن خلقت انسان پس عبرتگیر از آن؛
اول عبرتها تدبیرى است که حق تعالى در جنین مى فرماید: در رحم در حالى که او محجوب است در سه ظلمت:
تاریکى شکم، تاریکى رحم، و تاریکى بچه دان
در هنگامى که او را چاره نیست در طلب غذائى و نه در دفع اذیتى و بلائى، و نه در جلب منفعتى، و نه در دفع مضرّتى

The first is what the fetus manages in the womb and is blocked in three darkness
Darkness of the abdomen and the darkness of the womb and The darkness of the placenta
Where he has no trick in ordering food and do not hurt and not to derive benefit and no harmful payment
